Google Launches Pixel 11 Series With Tensor G6 and Deeper Gemini Integration

Google unveiled the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, its latest flagship smartphones, built around the new Tensor G6 chip and tighter integration with Gemini AI features throughout the operating system.

Google said Tensor G6, built on a 2-nanometer process, delivers roughly 20% faster performance and 20% better power efficiency than its predecessor, alongside a tensor processing unit that's about 50% faster at handling on-device Gemini commands. The lineup ships with a larger 5,115mAh battery on the top-end model and faster wired charging.

The launch also reaffirmed the Pixel 11 Pro Fold as part of the family. Sales for the standard lineup are set to begin later in August, continuing Google's strategy of using Pixel hardware as the reference showcase for its latest on-device AI capabilities, ahead of similar features arriving on other Android phones.
