Is my data or account ownership affected by using a CSP partner?

No — your Microsoft tenant, your data, and your Azure resources remain owned and controlled by your organization. A CSP partner manages licensing, billing, and support, not ownership of your tenant or data.

What a CSP partner can and can't do

• They can be granted administrative access (via Granular Delegated Admin Privileges, or GDAP) to help manage your environment.
• That access is scoped and can be reviewed or revoked by you at any time.
• Your organization remains the customer of record for your Microsoft tenant regardless of which partner bills you.

If a partner relationship ends, your tenant and data stay with you — you'd simply need a new partner (or direct billing) going forward.
